Put a STOP to Bullying!!

Remember the Bra game or the purse game on Facebook? I have a new one that should inspire :D

Change your profile pic to a baby pic or your favorite childhood pic. We all still have the innocent child in us somewhere... I want to do this to signify the inner child... that everyone needs love and support... to make people aware about bullying... whether it be in school (elementary, highschool, post secondary, work... wherever) We all have a son or daughter, little brother or sister niece or nephew that we Pray to God never gets bullied or picked on. Put a stop to Bullying today... make a difference for the world tomorrow! EVERYONE LOVE A LITTLE.. or ALOT :D I hope to see all your funny, cute even awkward (pictures where you cut your own hair) on your profiles. It's OK to laugh at yourself once in a while.

And remember that people who bully usually got bullied themselves so let's SHARE this with as many people... It's a revolution! Let's make moves!

Lindt Dark Chocolate with Chilli

Right now at IGA you can get 2 big bars of Lindt chocolate for $6.00.  They regularly retail for $4.99 per bar.  They come in a full range of flavors like Dark Mint Chocolate, Milk Chocolate and Dark chocolate with  Orange slices.

I am here to rave about the Lindt Dark Chocolate with Chilli.  It tastes better then it sounds.  It combines 2 of the greatest things into one... Chilli and Chocolate!!  The rich, slightly bitter sweet flavor of the dark chocolate mixed with a hint of chilli that stings your throat ever so slightly is amazing!  A nice surprise for your taste buds!  Please try it and let me know what you think!!

Divas 2 cents: Don't be afraid to try new flavors!  Load up on these diddies and share them with the people you love for Christmas!  Plus dark chocolate is filled with antioxidants and is actually good for your health.  Check out this link about the benefits of Dark Chocolate!

How to Fix your iPod!

My iPod crashed... I accidentally forgot to eject it properly before shutting down my laptop.  I was literally so close to drop kicking my iPod off the balcony.  The screen was black and wouldn't light up when I pushed buttons... or when I put it on the dock/charger.  I was so sad because I didn't have the receipt anymore.  Then I decided to give one last ditch effort at fixing my beeehbeh before throwing it away.  I decided to google for some help!! I had also heard the horror stories about iPods pooping the bed so I wasn't going to hold my breath.  I had almost lost all hope until I found this article.  This article was a life saver and a penny saver! Saved me from having to replace my beloved golden iPod.  Thanks Tom McNish for this super simple solution!

Divas 2 cents:  "When in doubt.... Google!" That's all me right there. I should coin that.  Seriously If I didn't Google this article, my iPod might have stayed frozen in time forever!  Remember to always eject your iPod when it is hooked up to your computer through USB... otherwise you could fry it!

Mrs. fields Cookies! $1.88

Shoppers Drug Mart has Mrs. Fields Cookies on sale for $1.88 a box!  They normally retail for $3.99-$5.99.  Comes with 8 individually wrapped cookies!! They are soooo delicious and chewy!  You can either eat them as is or throw them in the microwave and make them all gooey.  I got 3 boxes... I know shame shame... but how could I resist!?? I got the milk chocolate chip, White chocolate chip and macadamia nut and the peanut butter chocolate chip!

Divas 2 cents:  They come in lovely little boxes that could make the perfect add on to a Christmas gift.  Or you could eat them all to yourself! But what fun would that be if you didn't share all the chewy goodness with everyone!

Moon Dough vs PlaY-Doh...xmas is coming up!

Most of us grew up playing with PlaY-Doh.  I have spent countless dollars on PlaY-Doh for my nephew.  Don't get me wrong, Play-Doh is fun... but Moon Dough is the future!  Play-Doh always dries out and gets mashed into the carpets if it isn't stored properly.  When it gets all crusty it ends up in the garbage.  I bought my nephew a burger making Moon Dough set 3 months ago and it is showing no signs of slowing down! One bag of Moon Dough can last you ages.  It never dries out... even if the bag is left open!  It does have a completely different texture compared to PlaY-Doh.  At first I thought my nephew wasn't going to like Moon Dough because he's so used to the other stuff.  After he played with it a few times he loves it and now he has forgotten about PlaY-Doh. That wasn't part of my evil master plan, but oh well :-P  One draw back of Moon Dough is that it crumbles into small piece and can be a bit messy.  But it is still wayyyy easier to clean up.  You can also use some of the PlaY-Doh accessories with Moon Dough.  It really is a good gift idea for kids.  I haven't bought Play-Doh in months nor have I had to scrape it out of the carpet! 2 Thumbs up for Moon Dough!

Divas 2 cents:  Moon Dough costs a bit more BUT lasts longer and you don't have to keep buying more and more of it.  Plus hair, crumbs and dirt don't get permanently stuck into Moon Dough either! This dough is light, soft and hypoallergenic. The Moon dough is also wheat free. There are many sets to choose from and it's fun for both adults and kids!  With all the moolah I've saved not having to buy more Play-Doh it's been well worth it!
